Amine oxides of the general formula <IMAGE> in which R1 and R2 represent alkyl groups having 1-4 C atoms, R3 represents hydrogen, hydroxyl or an alkoxy group having 1-4 C atoms and m and n denote integers which fulfil the conditions 1 </= m </= 8 or 0 </= n </= 4, with the proviso that n does not represent 0 if R3 is a hydroxyl or alkoxy group, can be used advantageously for the production of mouldable or spinnable cellulose solutions having a slight tendency to crystallise. |
