摘要 The fibre of the cushion core are monofils (4) and/or hoses of a rubber material all of which extend cross ways to the direction of impact and constitute a core bundle. The core bundle is held together by a covering (3) of soft rubber-elastic material in an unloaded initial form. The major part of the fibres of the cushion core is pref. formed by round monofils with corresp. round cross-section. The supporting covering (3) is pref. vulcanised on to the outer periphery of the cushion core, and a ring layer of fibres (4) is vulcanised to the covering. The thickness of the cushion core is several times more c.f. of the cover (3). USE/ADVANTAGE - Used for simulation of the deformation of a biological muscle tissue under squash or shock loading.
