Back filling of salt and potash open cast mining areas - using mixture of mining spoil mixed with milled industrial waste

Areas exposed during the open cast mining, e.g. of salt and potash, are returned to an acceptable form by back filling with a mixture of the unusable spoil and industrial waste. The industrial waste is processed in a milling operation to produce a particle form that readily mixes with the mining waste. The combined mixture is subjected to compaction to project against ground subsidence. USE/ADVANTAGE - Use of industrial waste, e.g. from electronics industry. Returning open areas to original form.
