<p>The machine tool has a tool-spindle-carrier magazine which has holders for tool-spindle carriers (12). They are provided with location parts (17) which can be coupled to locking members (23) provided on the holders. The locking members (23) are provided on the bottom end of locking bars (22) and they lock the location parts (17) of the tool-spindle carriers (12) in the coupled position. The location parts (17) project up from the tool-spindle carrier (12) and rest under their weight on a support (48, 50, 52). The locking members (23) are loaded in the direction of the tool-spindle carriers (12) and have a centring and fixing part with which they centre the tool-spindle carrier (12) in the locking position via the location parts (17). With this machine tool, even heavy tool-spindle carriers (12) can be held satisfactorily in the tool-spindle-carrier magazine. In the event of any failure of the locking members (23), there is no risk of the tool-spindle carrier (12) suddenly falling down. <IMAGE></p> |
