The pump has a rotor with a stop slider, which slides in slots. The rotor is fastened to a shaft, and surrounded by a housing. The latter contains the medium to be pumped, and has an intake and a discharge. The surface of the rotor has cooling faces, e.g. at the sides. The cooling faces form the outer sides of chambers, which project into the body of the rotor, and are connected by a narrow duct. The chamber profile decreases inwards. The cooling faces are ribbed. The rotor and slider consist of materials of different thermal characteristics. ADVANTAGE - Reduced friction and wear of the rotor.
