The monitor has a base body (1) inserted in the rotating part and contg. a pressure sensor which detects the pressure at a measurement point. A circuit inside the base body contains a coil (5) which acts as an antenna and a switch (6). The pressure sensor contains a bourdon tube (4) with its tube axis in a plane. This operates the switch when the pressure goes outside a defined range. A fixed measurement device with an initiator receives pulses from the coil when the switch is closed and triggers a switching process when the switch is open. ADVANTAGE - Accurate, reliable and reproducible results. Resistant to centrifugal forces and remains sealed over long operating life.
