<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate static charge from copying paper stored in an intermediate tray in a copying machine capable of double-side copying. CONSTITUTION:A vertically rocking holding plate 151 is disposed on the upper surface of an intermediate tray 52 made of a nonconductive material and a static eliminating member 304 made of conductive fiber is stuck to the lower surface of the holding plate 151. Each time a sheet of copying paper CP is fed to the intermediate tray, the holding plate 151 vertically rocks to press the copying paper CP against the intermediate tray 52. In that case, the static eliminating member 304 provided on the lower surface of the holding plate makes contact with the copying paper CP to eliminate charge remaining in the copying paper CP and also when the holding plate is separated from the copying paper CP a discharge occurs so that charge remaining in the copying paper CP is eliminated.</p> |
