PURPOSE: To provide an electric driver for a cord winding and unwinding winch capable of mounting at a present manual operation unit without requesting complicated wirings. CONSTITUTION: In the electric driver for a cord winding and unwinding winch 22, the winch 22 is assembled in a drive unit together with a motor 12, and connected by a transmission affecting an influence by a brake force. When the cord is unwound, a means for stopping the motor in response to a suspension of a tension of the cord 4 generated by a motion in another direction by a spring force is provided, and a stop means has detectors 18, 19 for affecting the influence by the rotation of the winch 22.
