This publication relates to a device that permits the controlled movement of cylindrical objects by rolling them. The device is intended especially for the handling of paper reels 2. The reels 2 are moved along an inclined transport plane 1. According to the invention a first pressure element 6 is arranged in the transport surface of the object, which element is filled with a hydraulic medium and on which the reel rolls. Under the first pressure element 6 the device has a plane 3, which is capable of moving in a vertical direction, and under this plane a fixed plane 7. Between the fixed plane 7 and the moveable plane 3 there is a second pressure element 9, which is connected to the first pressure element 6. When the reel 2 comes on to the moveable plane 3, the hydraulic medium is pressed to the second pressure element 9 and the moveable plane 3 rises up and stops the reel. <IMAGE> |
