PURPOSE:To deter the waste of cleaning water and the deviation of the actual behavior from the predicted result by predicting defective cleaning due to the excessive amt. of the resin to be backwashed and regenerated, deterioration of the resin or any other causes in the early stage and instructing a countermeasure to minimize an influence on the entire process. CONSTITUTION:The ion-exchange resin is cleaned by the cleaning device before water is desalted by an ion-exchange resin in a desalting tower 10. In this case, the initial behavior of the quality of a discharged cleaning water is measured by a sensor 11, the measured data are compared with the past measured data registered in a data base 13 by a CPU 12, and the cleaning time and consumption of water until the desired water quality is attained are predicted in accordance with the compared result. |
