发明名称 METHOD FOR REGENERATING ION-EXCHANGE RESIN
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the upward movement of an ion-exchange resin bed, to prevent the nonuniform flow of a regenerant and to stably regenerate the resin with the small consumption of the regenerant by completely forming a block around a collector and passing the regenerant upwards. CONSTITUTION:An ion-exchange resin blocking is formed around a collector 14, and the ion-exchange resins 12 and 13 in an ion-exchange tower are regenerated. The supply of the regenerant is suspended during regeneration, the waste regenerant is discharged from a liq. discharge pipe 23 provided at the lower part of the tower instead of the collector, and water is passed downward through the ion-exchange resin bed. Water is then supplied from the upper part of the tower in the larger amt. than in regeneration and discharged from the collector. The amt. of water to be supplied from the upper part of the tower is increased to the amt. supplied in ordinary regeneration, and the movement of the resin bed is completely prevented.
