<p>PURPOSE: To form a coupling disk for a magnetic coupling by a simplified method using a punch and a die. CONSTITUTION: By using a punch 34 and a disk 36, plural rows with a certain interval in the radial direction with each other comprising grooves 32 angularly with a certain interval with each other are formed on a non-working face 24 of a coupling disk 20, and at the same time plural rows with a certain interval in the radial direction with each other comprising projections 41 angularly with a certain interval with each other are formed on a working face of the coupling disk. The projections are removed by machining the working face. Further, a groove continuous in the circular direction matching the grooves 32 of the nonworking face in the radial direction is formed on the working face so as to leave a thin web additionally generating a magnetic flux barrier. Furthermore, in order to generate a more excellent magnetic flux barrier, slots having narrow width in the radial direction angularly with a certain interval with each other are formed through the disk by piercing the thin web from the working face of the coupling disk.</p> |
