PURPOSE:To obtain a control device for a ropeless elevator, which can perform the high performance control of the ropeless elevator using a linear synchronous motor and which can eliminate the noise and which can reduce the number of feeder lines for flowing the current to armature coils of the linear synchronous motor. CONSTITUTION:A control device for ropeless elevator is provided near single converter 32 for converting the alternating electric power to the direct electric power, multiple inverters 34, 35 for converting the direct voltage from the convertor 32 to the three-phase alternating voltage, a control unit 40 for controlling the operation of the convertor 32 and the inverters 34, 35, and multiple armature coils 12A1-12A6, 12B1-12B6, which are arranged in an elevating passage of an elevator and forms a linear synchronous motor. The control device for ropeless elevator is provided with armature coil switching devices 43-48 for selectively supplying the output of the inverters 34, 35 to the armature coils 12A1-12A6 on the basis of the control information from the control unit 40. |
