PURPOSE: To orderly and periodically seal a number of pack containers by replacing each pack to be replaced during the seal face of a sealing tool is in contact with a heating body. CONSTITUTION: A cover plate 3 is put on the open edge part 2 of a container 1 and then pressed against the opening edge part 2 by a seal plunger 10. The sealing face 11 of the seal plunger 10 abutting on the cover plate 3 is formed of a flexible thick disk 12 made of heat-resistant silicone rubber, fluororubber, or heat-resistant elastomer. The disk 12 forming a cushioning member is firmly fit into the notch 13 of a holder 14. A heating body 15 is used to transfer heat to the seal plunger, especially to the flexible disk 12 which is temporarily brought in contact with the sealing face 11 of the disk 12 by the heating body 15. Prescribed quantity of heat is transferred to the disk 12 corresponding to the surface temperature of the heating body 15 and a time interval. |
