<p>The invention relates to a sealing strip of elastomeric material for tunnel segments provided with an encircling slot (slot depth d, slot width w), the strip (18) which is asymmetric viewed in cross- section, having grooves (22, 23, 24) running on its base side in the longitudinal direction. The essential part of this invention consists in the fact that the strip (18), towards the outside of the segment, i.e. towards the pressure-waterside, has a) a pressure-activating lip (8) which in the unloaded state runs from the back of the basic body of the strip (area A) in the direction of the gap centre, the angle alpha between the lines (19a, 19b) being 10 to 45 DEG , and b) a trough-shaped strip foot (9; area B) which occupies 10 to 40% of the slot width w. <IMAGE></p> |
