PURPOSE:To achieve reduction in costs by forming not only an outer handle but also a mount base thereof from resin to avoid breakage of a stopper when a door is pulled and opened, so that weight is reduced and mass production is achieved. CONSTITUTION:In an outer handle for a door of automobile comprising a handle and a mount base made from synthetic resin, in which the handle is operated vertically and in left and right directions, a protrusion 8 which serves as a stopper in a direction of opening is provided at the leg 2 of the handle 1. An opening adapted for insertion of the protrusion 8 is provided on the mount base 4. Under conditions that the handle 1 and the base 4 are assembled, the protrusion 8 makes contact with a leg 5 of the base 4 so as to be locked thereto when the handle is pulled and opened, so that the protrusion 8 serves as a stopper in a direction of opening. |
