The sales display stand comprises several hodlers (6) mounted in a line so that they can be moved along through the force of gravity in order to hold containers inbetween and one holder (6) of each pair forms a recess (11) which is designed to hold a complete container (14) or part of a container. The size of the container is thus not restricted by the size of the holder and if the containers are smaller than the usual then several containers can be fitted into each recess. In the case of large or small containers they can still be inserted and removed by authorized personnel to prevent theft. The recess can be of various design, e.g. a circular groove to take up flanges (9) provided on the containers. |
