PURPOSE:To improve precision for detecting R waves in electro-cardiogram waveform signals and to improve precision for measuring heartbeat intervals. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 1 for living body is connected to a differential amplifier circuit 6 by a leader cable 2 and the output side is connected through a low-pass filter 7 to an A/D conversion circuit 8 so as to input numerical data from the A/D conversion circuit 8 to a microcomputer 9. The microcomputer 9 is provided with a means to time-sequentially store potential difference, means to operate the sharpness values of waveforms, means to compare the sharpness value with a sharpness threshould value, means to retrive the peak point of the waveform having a potential difference value larger than a peak threshold value, means to count the lapse of time, and a means to detect R waves according to the processed results of the retrieving means and the comparing means and measure the time interval from the R wave detected last time. |
