<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation to communicate a flexible container and a drug container and to enable mixing of both liquids in a short time by moving the communicating means in the flexible container to break down the partition wall of a communicating port part, then penetrating the columnar body of the drug container, thereby communicating the flexible container and the drug container with the communicating means. CONSTITUTION:This transfusion container used for injection by instillation consists of the drug container (vial) 1, the flexible container 2, the communicating means 3 and a box body 4 and is packed with a powder drug, freeze-dried drug, etc., in the drug container 1 and a dissolving liquid in the flexible container 2. At the time of using, the frange 13 from the external part of the flexible container 2 is pushed to the communicating port 8 side to break through the partition wall 16 of the communicating port 8 by a puncture needle 12. The container is further pushed in to eject a shielding body 18 into the drug container 1 by the front end of the puncture needle 12 and to communicate the two containers 1, 2 with each other by the communicating means 3. A part of the dissolving liquid is sent into the drug container 1 by compressing the flexible container 1, by which the drugs are dissolved. The drugs after the dissolution are transfused through the transfusion set connected to a discharge port 9 in the lower part of the container 1.</p> |
