发明名称 METHOD AND MEANS OF SUPPLYING FUEL FOR FILLING CRYO-TANK
摘要 PURPOSE: To decrease the amount of hydrogen gas generated and carried away through a gas return line during refueling by using hydrogen at a pressure and temperature corresponding to a supercooled liquid hydrogen in filling a cryotank with liquid hydrogen where thermal energy can be introduced. CONSTITUTION: In order to decrease the amount of gas generation during refueling a cryotank 42 as far as possible, liquid hydrogen in a hydrogen bath 14 in a thermodynamic equilibrium state in pressure and temperature is sucked through a suction line 18 and carried to a hydrogen cooling unit 20 through an intermediate line 22 by a pump 16. The liquid hydrogen exiting the unit 20 is in a supercooled state, that is, the temperature is lower than that corresponding to the pressure indicated by boiling temperature curves of the thermodynamic equilibrium diagram. Such supercooled liquid hydrogen is introduced into the cryotank 42 through a liquid hydrogen line 26, a connecting pipe 28 and a tank feed line 48.
