PURPOSE:To obtain a hydrogen peroxide detection element which can perform measurement readily and easily and can be miniaturized easily and is suited for throwaway, and a chemical sensor using it. CONSTITUTION:A pair of nickel electrodes 3 which are laid out with a spacing of 0.5mm on an insulation support 2 which consists of a glass substrate are formed by using the vacuum deposition method and then a thin film 4 which is made of molybdenum dioxide is formed on it by sputtering. Then, a hydrogen peroxide transmission film 5 which is obtained by dipping n-butylalcohol is superposed on a paper which is approximately 50mum thick and further the peripheral part is coated with an insulation sealing material 6, thus obtaining a hydrogen peroxide detection element 1. |
