PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having excellent heat-insulation property, heat-resistance, etc., low shrinkage and high strength by mixing a curing agent component to a precondensate of a urea-formaldehyde resin containing a specific amount of coagulating gypsum. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a precondensate of a urea-formaldehyde resin (preferably having a water-content of <=30wt.%) containing 10-200 pts.wt. of coagulating gypsum with (B) 20-100 pts.wt. of a curing agent component produced by dissolving (i) 0.5-10 pts.wt. of a curing agent such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, (ii) 1-10 pts.wt. of a surfactant (preferably anionic surfactant) and (iii) dipropylene glycol and urea. |
