PURPOSE:To enhance the developed color density, light fastness and printer aptitude of a single layer type color self-forming pressure-sensitive recording sheet using an inorg. developer. CONSTITUTION:A phenolic compd. is contained in a color forming layer. An inorg. developer having especially marked effect is composed of a semi-synthetic solid acid derived from clay mineral having a layered structure composed of a regular tetrahedron of silica and showing the diffraction pattern based on the layered structure composed of the regular tetrahedron of silica in electron beam diffraction but not substantially showing the diffraction pattern based on the above-mentioned structure in X-ray diffraction and having at least silicon and magnesium or aluminum as elements other than oxygen. The phenolic compd. includes 4,4'-isopropylidene diphenol. Therefore, the developed color density and light fastness of a pressure-sensitive recording sheet are enhanced while the red seal-ink resistance and plasticizer resistance of a developed color character being the merits of the inorg. developer are kept and, further, humidity resistance, plate contamination resistance being printer aptitute and desensitizing effect are also excellent. |
