PURPOSE:To obtain a porous sintered sheet which is thin but free from cracking by applying plastic powder or a blend of plastic powder and a filler to the surface of a base material coated with a surfactant, then shaping the blend to a specified thickness and sintering it passing through a heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:A metal belt such as stainless steel or plastic film such as polyester is used as a base material 2. A specified amount of a surfactant solution is supplied to a sponge roll 3 using a rotary pump, and the solution is applied to the surface of the base material 2 by pressing the sponge roll 3 against the surface of the base material 2. The solution applied to the surface of the base material 2 comes in contact with supplied thermoplastic or thermocurable plastic powder, or a blend of plastic powder and a filler to moisten the powder or the blend, and thus restricts the slippage of the base material 2 over the powder 1. In addition, these materials are shaped to a specified thickness in a clearance, between a bovine nose-type roll 4 and the base material 2. Further, the plastic powders are fused along a stainless steel belt 7 using a heating furnace 5 to obtain a porous sintered sheet. |
