PURPOSE:To obtain a technology and its applied device by which a trimming material which can be used as a decorative tape even on a material having a comparatively high heat resistance, in a process to form a highlighted part by adhering a decorative tape to the base of the trimming material. CONSTITUTION:A trimming material is manufactured using a composite material which consists of a resin part 3 formed on the surface of a long base material 2p on the specific area of which a highlighted part is formed. The base material 2 is supplied to an extrusion molding die 17, and part of the resin part 3 is fixed to the base material 2. Further, the resin part 3 is formed by extrusion so that a part which adjoins the highlighted part 5 is isolated from the base material 2, and a decorative tape 6 is attached to the base material 2 after the extrusion molding process, using an attaching device l8. In addition, the base material 2 is fixed by deforming the isolated extrusion part 3c of the resin part plastically using a deformation/fixing device 19 in such a manner that the lateral end part of the attached decorative tape 6 is covered, to manufacture the trimming material. |
