<p>PURPOSE:To calculate the calorific amount without using expertise knowledgement and any complicated costly measuring instrumentation by furnishing a memory means to store a plurality of set correlation straight lines, selecting optimum straight line by reference to the individual person information entered, and calculating the consumed calory corresponding to the measured number of heart beats. CONSTITUTION:Logical memory circuits 16-20 are provided which store a plurality of correlation straight lines capable of adapting approximatively to many individuals not identified. A comparator circuit 21 compares judgements of a plurality of selector circuits 13-15 and selects the optimum correlation straight line to the person concerned by reference to the individual person information entered. A calory calculator circuit 22 calculates the consumed calory corresponding to the measured number of heart beats on the basis of the correlation straight line selected by the comparator circuit 21. In this manner, the consumed calory is determined from the measured number of heart beats by these circuits, and the consumed calory is displayed along with the number of heart beats.</p> |
