<p>A device for opening the door of a drum in a dry-cleaning machine using a closed circuit for the cleaning solvent is designed to avoid any escape or wastage of solvent vapours, but at the same time to allow the entry of solid objects, such as clothing, or the hands of the operator. A layered flow of air completely sweeps over the door cavity in the drum. The flow is produced by a controlled ventilator, which is triggered by the action of opening the door. The airflow passes to a condenser to recover any traces of solvent also as part of a closed circuit system.</p> |
