PURPOSE:To increase the strength of a cup-type coreless rotor and reduce the axial length thereof, by winding a conductor therearound as it is inclined at a predetermined angle in the vicinity of a bottom portion of the cup, at the same angle in the vicinity of an open end of the cup along the circumferential edge thereof, and at a small angle in a side portion between the mentioned two inclined portions. CONSTITUTION:A diagnoal conductor portion 8 having a predetermined angle alpha of inclination with respect to an imaginary center line 1' is provided in the vicinity of an end surface 3b of a bottom section of a cup-type coreless rotor. A diagonal conductor portion 9 having the same angle alpha of inclination as the diagonal conductor portion 8 and extending along a circular edge 3d is provided in the vicinity of an end surface 3c of an open end section of the rotor. A conductor portion inclined at an angle beta, which is smaller than the angle alpha, is provided on an outer surface 3a of a side section of the rotor, which is between the diagonal conductor portions 8, 9. As a result, conductor ends 8a-1, 9a-1 are formed on both end surfaces 3b, 3c. Consequently, the strength of the rotor is increased, and the rotor can be flattened in the axial direction. When a self-fusing conductor is used, a plastic molding step can be omitted. |
