<p>PURPOSE: To provide a hair and scalp treatment system that can electrostatically spray hair and/or scalp with a beneficial agent or a treatment agent under the control of a topical applicator that can prevent the hair treatment agent from being sprayed to the body parts other than hair and scalp. CONSTITUTION: A liquid-containing vessel 2, a high-voltage generator 4 and an electric cell 6 are placed in a usually round, preferably insulating housing 1 where the high-voltage generator 4 and the cell are arranged in the handle part 12, while the vessel 2 is arranged in the hair-brushing part 14 equipped with the brush/comb element 18. A plurality of liquid-releasing elements 8 are extended from the vessel 2 so that the elements may communicate to the vessel 2 and liquid may flow through, until the elements pass through the wall of the housing 1 and attain the area occupied by the brush/comb element 18. The electrically constituted elements and the circuit network are energized and the liquid-feeding controller 20 is operated, as hair is brushed, to feed the liquid beneficial agent or the treatment agent from the vessel 2 to the free ends of the liquid-releasing elements 8 thereby spraying the agent from the free ends to the area occupied by the brush elements.</p> |
