PURPOSE:To subdivide a zone without increasing the number of antennas of a base station, by executing the communication by radiating simultaneously and densely plural beams into a horizontal plane by an antenna of a master radio station. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a horizontal plane is divided into N pieces of zones alpha, and also, the inside of one zone alpha is divided into M pieces of smaller sub-zones beta. In this state, an antenna of a multi-beam, which can radiate M pieces of beams 4 is used for an antenna of a base station. In order to realize this communication system, it is necessary that the zone alpha in the horizontal plane is covered densely and fully with plural beams 4. Therefore, the radiation beams 4 of adjacent feeding horns are superposed to each other in the horizontal plane. In this way, the number of antennas of the base station can be made smaller than the number of radio zones. |
