<p>PURPOSE: To optimize a layout method by recursively processing all the subordinate objects of a logical root. CONSTITUTION: A format module FOR is included in an optimal tool TK. In this case, an object on the highest level of the hierarchy of a specific layout stricture, an object called a physical root is prepared. Then a 'subordinate object generator' evaluates the 'subordinate object generator' attribute of the physical root based on the inclusive layout structure so that a layout object can be prepared every time a desired item or repeated item is included, and an interim object can be prepared when an arbitrary item, arbitrary repeated item or selected item is included. Next, scroll-up is operated to all the subordinate objects of the logical root and the processing is recursively executed until the logical root can be attained again while the constraint conditions of preparation and arrangement are set based on the object in the highest level of the hierarchy of the specific logical structure, the object called the logical root.</p> |
