<p>PURPOSE: To provide a scanning device in which the center position of a scanning pattern can be concentrated and fixed at one point regardless of the distance between a bar code label and a scanner, and the scanning pattern can be positioned on the bar code label. CONSTITUTION: This is an optical scanning unit 26 for scanning bar code label, and a laser beam from a laser beam source 45 provided at one end part of a hollow driving shaft 68 of motor driving is projected through this hollow shaft. A deflecting member 84 including a first reflection surface 86 for deflecting the laser beam to outside plural mirrors 78 formed like a ring is mounted on the other end part of the shaft. A second reflection surface 88 of the deflecting member 84 is irradiated with a beam deflected by the ring- shaped mirrors 78 arranged in a face in parallel to a shaft 72 of the driving shaft 68, and the beam is deflected in a direction in parallel to the driving shaft 68. Thus, a scanning pattern constituted of plural crossing scanning lines formed so that an intersection position can be constant when a distance between the deflecting member and the bar code label is changed can be formed.</p> |
