Movable cover for a metallic board. The invention makes it possible to uncover the board progressively, line by line, and vertically. It consists of a rigid bar (1) including magnets (2) which "attach" the latter to the board. To the bar is fastened (via 4 and 5) a flexible curtain (3) which covers the board (6). The curtain can thus, by successive displacements of the bar, totally or partially cover or uncover the texts written on the board. It is important to note that the surface of the curtain is set at a distance from the surface of the board in order to prevent accidental erasing of the chalk. This device is intended particularly for teachers, lecturers, etc., in all situations where a board is required (for chalk or for "erasable (wipe-off) felt-tip pen"). <IMAGE>
