PURPOSE:To easily grasp traffic information. CONSTITUTION:A receiver 11 receives a signal regarding the traffic information. A decision means 12 decides whether or not a wide-area map displayed on the display screen of a display means 14 needs to be enlarged according to the traffic information so as to display the traffic information. When it is decided that the map needs to be enlarged, an enlargement control means 13 displays a detailed map, obtained by enlarging a specific area of the map, on the display screen of the display means 14. Then the traffic information is superimposed on the detailed map and the detailed part of the information can easily be grasped. |
