<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a prepaid card having a high recognizability and a superior durability in comparison with a prior art by using a stainless steel foil as a substrate. CONSTITUTION:Surfaces of a stainless steel foil 1 are roughened. On the surfaces with fine irregularities, a magnetic recording layer and a printing pattern are formed. A balance indication part is provided by forming a thin film 6 of printing ink or the like in pits 5 perforated in the stainless steel foil 1, or by forming a thin-wall parts 8 by etching or pressing in a part of the stainless steel foil. The magnetic recording layer is formed by applying a magnetic fine particle- dispersed resin liquid on the surface of the stainless steel foil. In this manner, with the best use of advantages of a stainless steel, i.e., a high glossiness and a high spring, a thin prepaid card having rigidness is made available.</p> |
