<p>PURPOSE: To provide a racket for competition having a nearly uniform impact characteristic. CONSTITUTION: The racket is provided with a frame head 5 having an impact surface 3 consisting of a main string 4 and a cross string. The main string 4 and the cross string pass through the holes formed in the frame head 5 in two conceptual planes 1, 2 parallel to the impact surface 3. The conceptual planes 1, 2 are provided to both sides of the impact surface 3 at equal spaces from the impact surface 3 respectively. The continuous end parts of the main string 4 and the cross string pass through the holes that are alternately provided to the conceptual places 1, 2 respectively. Both ends of the strings of the number larger than 2/3 (66.67%) of the total number of strings pass through the holes provided to the same conceptual plane 1 or 2.</p> |
