The invention relates to a combustion grate (4, 4') for a gas burner, the orifices (5, 5') of which for the passage of the combustible (fuel) mixture are arranged on an annular surface. The grate according to the invention is noteworthy in that it has in at least one zone (Z1) a number of circular and concentric rows of orifices which are uniformly distributed over each row but which are closer to one another from one row to another according to the decrease in the diameter of the said rows.
