摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an optical-axis adjusting method which facilitates the adjustment of the operating axis of a laser robot with the optical axis of a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:One visible laser beam, which is obtained by dividing a laser beam into two parts with a beam splitter 44 provided on the path of the laser beam in a robot body, is guided to the surface of a target plate 32 composed of a semi-transparent body of an optical-axis adjusting tool 30 mounted on the side of the robot body. Thus, a beam spot Sp is formed. When the robot is operated, the beam spot Sp is visually observed from the rear side of the target plate 32. Reflecting mirrors 26-28 are adjusted during the observation, and the optical axis is adjusted.
