PURPOSE:To ensure a negative pressure of a vacuum booster so as to improve running stability by providing a control means by which a throttle valve is closed for a predetermined time before actuating an automatic brake device to increase the negative pressure in the first chamber of the vacuum booster. CONSTITUTION:An automatic brake device, by which a brake is automatically applied to each wheel in the case of judging possibility of contact provided by a judging means 24, is provided. This automatic brake device has the first chamber of introducing a negative pressure and the second chamber of introducing the atmospheric press, connected to the downstream of a throttle valve in an intake passage of an engine, further to provide a vacuum booster 17 of performing a boost function by a differential pressure between these negative pressure and atmospheric pressure and a control means 24 for closing the throttle valve for a predetermined time before actuating the automatic brake device to increase the negative pressure in the first chamber of the vacuum booster 17. |
