<p>PURPOSE:To provide a stable and high-quality image display by eliminating the flickering and unequal brightness of the display images generated by the level shift of the voltage impressed to liquid crystals arising from the parasitic capacity of TFT switching elements. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary voltage generating circuit 109 which impresses the auxiliary voltage making polarity inversion around a 2nd reference potential in synchronization with a video signal voltage is provided at auxiliary capacity lines 143 forming auxiliary capacities(Cs) 145 between the TFT elements 127 disposed at each of the respective intersected parts of scanning lines 125 and signal lines 123 and picture element electrodes 137 connected to these elements.</p> |
