PURPOSE: To obtain a highly reliable multi-frequency antenna which can be manufactured easily, has a relatively wide band and a larger separation characteristic required for simultaneous operation at different frequencies, can maintain the wide band and the expanded separation characteristic even when radiated energy at multiple frequencies is the same polarized wave, and can be applied to an array structure. CONSTITUTION: When a laminated microstrip antenna has two radiating elements, the separation characteristic of the antenna is obtained by shielding 26 the partial periphery of a feed pin 44 connected to the upper radiating element 16 and electrically connecting a reference plane 12 to the lower radiating element 14. When a tuning circuit is connected to each radiating element, the separation characteristic and response characteristic of the antenna are further improved. In addition, the gain and directivity of the antenna can be increased when an array is formed by arranging two or more sets of laminated radiating elements. |
