PURPOSE: To provide a terminal equipment system, that is easily adapted to any of existing telephone subscriber lines over a wide range by using its own full band width available output and to provide its components. CONSTITUTION: A terminal control system back plane that connects a large number of subscriber telephone lines 23 to an optical fiber transmission system with a wideband width is provided with a large number of connectors 25, 27, 29, 31, receiving a subscriber printed circuit board connected to a subscriber telephone installation. Each connector is connected to a plurality of individual communication buses 21 that respectively supply several communication channels from optical fiber systems 13, 15, 17. A primary bus of each connector is connected to a single unique bus. Thus, the printed circuit card may have exclusive buses, whose number is equal to number of communication channels of the buses and uses an additional channel capacity from the primary bus of other connectors as required. |
