PURPOSE: To offer a retainer for the cylindrical roller members used in a hyperboloidal one-way clutch to retain rollers both in the circumferential and axial directions. CONSTITUTION: The retainer 10 has a generally conical web 12, the upper periphery being connected to an upper flange 14, the lower periphery to a bottom flange 16. The web 12 has a plurality of windows 17, and each window contains a cylindrical thrust transmission roller 18. The retainer 10 mounted with rollers 18 is placed on an inner race 22, and covered by an outer race member 26. |
