PURPOSE: To allow the rotational movement for a plate cylinder in/out process to be executed even if an adjusting mechanism for circumferential registration is supported at a fixed part by improving a device to adjust the circumferential registration of a rotary press. CONSTITUTION: An axis journal 2 of a plate cylinder 1 is unrotatably held in a first bush 8, a second bush 9 is slidably positioned coaxially to the first bush 8, a bevel drive gear 11 is unrotatably supported on the circumferential wall of the second bush 9. The end of the axis journal 2 has a conical-shaped notch 39 which is tapered and extended in the axial direction of the plate cylinder. A conical-shaped member 41 is movably and selectively positioned within the second bush 9 coaxially provided so as to open a circumferential wall 40 of the first bush 8. |
