<p>PURPOSE: To lower the manufacture and assembly cost by decreasing the number of components and prevent the operability of the ejector from decreasing even when electronic components such as SIMM(single inline memory module) are arrayed with a high density. CONSTITUTION: The socket is equipped with a housing 11 which has plural grooves 12 for receiving electronic components and the single ejector 24 for lifting plural electronic components. The ejector 24 is equipped with a cam 28 having projection parts 40 which lifts respective electronic components at both ends and a handle 26 for rotating the cam 28. When the handle 26 is rotated clockwise, the projection part of the cam 28 pushes up the electronic component received in the left-side groove 14. Similarly, when the handle 26 is rotated counterclockwise, the projection part 40 of the cam 28 pushes up the electronic component in the right-side groove 12.</p> |
