REMOVAL OF MERCURY IN EXHAUST GAS

摘要

PURPOSE:To remove mercury contained in the waste refuse incineration exhaust gas discharged from an urban waste refuse incineration plant. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution of a chemical agent such as sodium piperidine-dithiocarbamate reacting with heavy metals, especially, gaseous mercury is sprayed into waste refuse incineration exhaust gas in a high temp. atmosphere of 250-300 deg.C before said gas is introduced into an electric precipitator to be reacted with gaseous or ionic mercury to form compound particles which are, in turn, removed by a bag filter 3 or a combination device consisting of a cyclone 2 and the bag filter 3 without using the electric precipitator.
