PURPOSE:To stop all outputs of a multioutput switching regulator (SR) by detecting either one of insufficient voltages of the SR. CONSTITUTION:When the terminals 7 and 8 of an SR 2 are short-circuited to each other, the shutdown function of the SR 2 is actuated and all output voltages of the SR 2 are stopped. Since a drive circuit 5 short-circuits terminals 9 and 10 to each other in its inside in response to an insufficient voltage detecting signal from an insufficient voltage detection circuit 6, the shutdown function of the SR 2 is actuated and a first and second outputs are stopped. An inhibit circuit 11 outputs an inhibit signal to a drive circuit 5 until a first output voltage rises and its voltage value is fixed after the SR 2 is actuated. The circuit 5 does not connect the terminals 9 and 10 to each other even when circuit 5 receives the insufficient voltage detecting signal while the circuit 5 receives the inhibit signal and connect the terminals 9 and 10 to each other when the circuit 5 receives the insufficient voltage detecting signal while the circuit does not receive the inhibit signal. |
