The fixing for securing a load on the loading surface of a goods vehicle with side loading walls consists of a hook which is hung over the side wall. A swivel plate is rotatably mounted on the hook and has a fastening loop to hold a tensioning chain or belt, by means of which the load is lashed to the loading surface; should the load move, a force is exercised on the swivel plate through the chain or belt. ADVANTAGE- Provides a stronger adaptor plate assembly.
