The circular brush has bristles especially with abrasive elements mounted in them. The bristles are supported on a rotary driven hub which has at least one, preferably several, rotationally symmetrical, spaced apart, oval, elliptical or bean shaped holes parallel to the hub axis. The bristles protrude from the hub radially outwards at right angles or parallel or at an angle to the hub axis. Preferably more than one threadless arms with a preferably non-circular cross section are connected to a drive mechanism and holder, and fit, axially parallel, into the holes. The holes may go right through the hub or be countersunk. USE/ADVANTAGE - The circular brush is more easily, quickly and efficiently attached to, replaced and removed from its drive or holder by having arms fitting into holes in the hub.
