The method of unpacking the image from the compressed vector format where the vector is determined by the point of its origin, its gradient and colour. During this unpacking the image is formed by a combination of vectors while the area behind each vector in the direction of display is depicted according to information carried by the vector to which the area belongs. The vector points and areas are displayed by lines or by columns. The associative vector processor which generates the image directly from the compressed vector format contains memory cells to store coordinates of the vector origin points, vector gradients and colours, a comparator or comparators to compare the actual position of the display unit with coordinates of individual vectors, and adder to add the gradient. |
